Reflection:
I found it important that the changes that I
made were noticeable to my classmates because they noted them in the comments.
The modifications seemed to make my elevator pitch overall better and seeing an
improvement from my first, I think, is a step in the right direction.
What I changed based on feedback:
By the third time, I definitely
had it memorized as I’ve recorded this elevator speech too many times to count
now. And by now I’m definitely more comfortable being in front of the camera
especially since I now know exactly what I’m going to say. Plus, with the third
try at my pitch my information has been enhanced to communicate my idea the
best way possible. Most of my feedback was positive from my second elevator
pitch so I was sure to continue those things in my final elevator pitch.
Hello Kaitlin,
ReplyDeleteI found very interesting the data that you mentioned in the presentation, and I thin that is one of the most important things to do when talking about such a big topic, such as guns.I agree with you when you say that as you practice and record the video over and over again, you can get use to the fact that you are just talking to a camera. My little suggestion for next time is to position the camera higher, that way you look straight to the front (like you would to with a person) instead of looking down. Overall, great job.
Hi Kaitlin,
ReplyDeleteI would position the camera better so that your stance is solid and you are looking at the camera not looking down towards it. As well I suggest talking a bit slower and improving the information that you are using. This is a big topic and if you think your topic os valuable you have to make people listen which starts with clear concise speech and a firm stance.
