Describe 5 ways in which you think you have human capital
that is truly unique:
1.
Dedication: when I find something I’m interested
in or passionate about I dedicate large amounts of time and energy in order to
accomplish what my goal is.
2.
Hard work: I never do anything half way. Putting
in work to get results has always been important to me.
3.
Care about others: I have always been one to
think about others before myself and really try to understand what they are
going through and how I can help.
4.
Communicating: I have no problem interacting
with others to discuss a problem, how to make something better, and any new
ideas.
5.
Leadership: I enjoy being in charge and
controlling things, which can sometimes be a bad thing if something requires a
group effort but I believe that if you want something to get done right you’re better off
doing it yourself.
1.
Sister: My sister, Giovanna, discusses how I
have always taken care of her growing up and always have her best interest at
heart. She knows how important family is
to me but she sees that I care for others as well.

2.
Brother: My brother, John, discusses my hard
work with everything I do,. And he knows because of this quality I have I will go
far in life with whatever I do

3.
Mom: My mom talks about how I have a very strong
mindset when I have something in mind that I want to do but she also discusses
how I am very caring for others. She talks about how since I’m tiny I always
would just appear tough but on the inside I do care for others and would do
many things for the people I love.

4.
Roommate: My roommate knows me very well since
we have been sharing the same space this past year. She discusses my passion
and hard work that she sees with everything I do.
5. Dad: My dad discussed how I have drive like nobody else. Also how my relentlessness when it comes to anything I do separates me from many, which as a result makes me a leader.
Reflection: I think for the most part people see me the way
I see myself. There were slight differences in how I assess myself compared to
how others assess me. For example, my mom might say I try to form an image of
toughness because of my size but is really very caring but I don’t completely
think that. The main reasons for these differences I think is because you
aren’t always aware of what you’re doing or how you’re doing it, but someone on
the outside seeing you can observe your actions more clearly. But overall, I do
think my interviewees were correct about me since they are the people who know
and understand me best. After these interviews I wouldn’t change my list
because I still believe, and others do too, that these are strong important
qualities of mine.
hey jessica, Kaitlin, I felt identified with your blog post because I also feel that I have several characteristics with which you described yourself such as dedication and hard work. the way your family describes you compared to the idea you have of yourself is very similar, such as that you took care of your sister and you describe yourself as a caring person. or as your roommate and your brother describe your hard work and dedication
