What’s next?

The next step for my service would be for it to
be implemented into other states around the country not just Florida. I think
the popularity my service gets here in Florida and effectiveness will help push
it forward to other states. Customer support will be vital to this product
reaching other states because if they use their voice to explain its
effectiveness and how it meets there needs, soon other states will have it too.

Existing market
o
My existing market are those who are looking to
purchase a firearm. Through my interviews I learned that my plan seems to be
one of the first ideas that would meet their need so they didn’t really have
much to say on what else I should be planning that I’m not already. These
customers want a sense of security and safety and they think they can find that
in my service.

Existing market reflection:
o
Based on my interviews my customers in this
existing market strongly want change. They want a sense of security and safety
that they currently do not have. These shootings are happening everywhere and
to anyone. My service must be created to be effective enough where these
customers see a positive change. Plus, when looking into the future these
current customers must be in favor of it in order for my service to spread to
other states.
o
Because this need is so important to everyone’s
daily life I must take the proper and extensive measures to be sure my service
is effective. With the customers assured that my service will be effective it
will allow my market to grow within this current one. Their support is key for
my service being implemented.

New market

For this new market I decided to focus on
potential customers who have experienced the tragedies of shootings. I talked
to two different girls who had been in the Douglass shooting and had lost a
very close friend. This service definitely has value even though they
technically wont be using the service themselves at this point in time since
they are underage but could possibly use my service in the future.

New Market Reflection:

This new market can actually be very crucial for
my next steps in my venture. Even though they won’t technically be using the
service they are affected by those who do. Which means they are affected if
people aren’t using this service. Their support and determination for change
will help bring my service into the markets and hopefully spread to other
places after. These two girls specifically proved my assumptions to be correct
that right now they have no hope, they don’t feel safe being in large public
places and they want that to change.

This new market is just as important and attractive
as my first because like I said before my service needs customer support.
Without it, my service won’t have the push behind it for it to actually be
implemented. This market will especially be important in doing this since it
will mostly be the younger generation who has seen so much tragedy already and
are demanding a change, and my service is just the change for them.

For this reason, I agree with you that your next step would be to implement your service in other states besides Florida. I also agree that a new market for your product could be people who have experienced first hand a shooting because they would definitely want a service like yours that can protect the sales of firearms. Overall, great job!
